Word practice

My students not only hate it when they have to explain words in English, but they also find it difficult. That's why I came up with the idea to write down the new words and their definitions on pieces of paper and I gave each student one. They had to go around the room and pair up. Then we checked and I wrote the words/phrases on the whiteboard. Finally, they had to write sentences using them.
