The Graffiti technique is a very popular activity for the classroom especially when it comes to provoking shy teenagers to state their opinions on a certain topic.The graffiti technique doesn't require much preparations just a couple of sheets of paper with certain keywords written on them and stuck on different places around the classroom so that the students can move freely and write on them.It's the perfect "ice-breaker" to get your students ready for a following discussion on a certain topic.Students really enjoy writing their graffiti anonymously and tend to be quite honest and versatile in their opinions which provides the teacher with an excellent ground for the discussion itself.The topics I used with my class were-Education,Love,Friends and Happiness.These were chosen in order to discuss the Meaning of life in general and what are the real things that matter.My students really enjoyed the whole activity and there are plenty of topics that can be approached using this technique.
