Board games are a good way to review and practise not
only English tenses but also directions. All you need is a copy of the board game, dice
and pawns.
1. Divide
the class in pairs.
2. Give
each pair a copy of the board game /in
my case it’s a map of Mary Arden’s farm/ , two pawns and a die.
3. Give
instructions to the students – they have to take turns in asking and giving
directions by moving the pawns to the desired destination.
Let the fun begin!
